Basil Seed

The small (half the size of a sesame seed), black oval shaped, seed of lemon scented basil, when soaked in water develop a slippery, translucent coat. These are floated in the sweet cold drinks which are popular in countries with warmer climates and are claimed to have cooling effect on the system. The seed itself is crunchy. Net weight: 1.5 lb.
