Our Black Truffle Salt is a special blend of black truffles from Italy and hand-harvested sea salt. Known for their distinct aroma and flavor, these rare mushroom-like fungi are found within the roots of trees such as chestnut, oak or elm. The Italian black truffles for this salt were cultivated in small quantities and hand-raked one by one. Use it over egg dishes, pasta, risotto, roasted potatoes, pâté or foie gras, or sprinkled on buttered popcorn.
