While most hibiscus salts are made quickly from low-quality salt dry-blended with hibiscus powder, causing separation of flavors, our Upethi™ Hibiscus Balinese Sea Salt is carefully crafted from two types of hibiscus flowers and Upethi™ Balinese Sea Salt. It takes about a week just to make a single batch! We use painstaking methods with special equipment to make the flavors homogenous. Tart, sweet, with salty umami-base note.
